I was reading this post on Bionic Exoskeleton Suits of the Future and discovered these 2 videos:
First is the SARCOS, which will likely be used by baseball players in the future.
The exoskeleton, much like the Berkeley suit, works much like a human nervous system. A complex set of sensors act as nerves and hydraulics act as muscle.
Watch the video to see how the suit enables you to lift a ton without breaking a sweat.
Then there’s the Real Life Halo suit, which was invented by the nutty Canadian who also invented the Bear-proof suit. This thing actually is pretty sweet and seems rather practical for a soldier. Not shown in the video is what happens when the suit gets hit with a rocket.
