Baseball Quickly Takes Brawling Spotlight From WNBA
Thursday night, the Reds Single A affiliate Dayton Dragons took part in a riot-like brawl with the Cubs’ Peoria Chiefs. Watch in the clip below as Chiefs pitcher Julio Castillo crow hops and launches a ball towards the Dragons’ dugout. Turns out he’s in Single A because he has control like Rick Vaughn, so his throw sailed above the dugout and nailed a fan, who was taken to the hospital.
Props to the Dragons player (with helmet) who jumped Castillo right after the throw. Baseball!
