Top 10 Sports Rivals Unlikely To Star In Step Brothers 2

Inspired by the upcoming Will Ferrell and John C Reilly movie Step Brothers, I got to thinking which athletes definitely wouldn’t get along if their parents were to wed. While there’s a few obvious ones, my friend Steve helped me build a list of combinations that definitely couldn’t coexist.

Without anymore babbling that you’re not even reading, here are the Top 10 Sports Rivals Not Likely To Star In Step Brothers 2:

Tim Couch and Cade McNown:
Brothers don’t steal each other’s Playmate of the Year girlfriends. McNown stole Couch’s. Here’s Couch and Heather Kozar during their happy period, pre McNown:

Here’s some more of Kozar, just because (click thumbnails):

David Boston and Charles Woodson:

These two were quite the sideshow back in the day for the Ohio State - Michigan games. I imagine if they were brothers it’d be fun watching them compete for women.

And can’t forget Boston’s act of maturity as he backed into the end zone (click thumbnail):

Kyle Farnsworth and Paul Wilson:

After Farnsworth Terry Tate’d his ass, Wilson is embarrassed to ever be seen near him.

See the rest after the jump…

Michael Barrett and AJ Pierzinsky:

Mom and dad would get tired of all the broken doors and hospital visits.

Nolan Ryan and Robin Ventura:
Ryan might as well be Ventura’s noogie-giving father.

Pudge is just there for the gangbang.

Terrell Owens and Jeff Garcia:

After the whole Owens telling the world Garcia is gay incident, I don’t think they’d do well as brothers.

“Quit opening up your crotch to me, Jeff.”

On the other hand, TO might be able to live with Garcia’s Playmate of the Year wife, Carmella DeCesare (click thumbnails):

Lou Gehrig and Wally Pipp:

These two make up one of my favorite baseball stories. Pipp was the Yankees’ starting first basemen and took a day off while in a slump. Gehrig filled in that day and then went on to play 2,130 consecutive games. Pipp might have been a tad bitter.

Jose Canseco and A-Rod:

A lot of people could have made this post to be paired with Canseco, but A-Rod has the double whammy connection with Canseco in that he’s accused of both steroids and trying to bang his wife.

Todd Bertuzzi and Steve Moore:

I feel bad about posting this one, but you know these guys don’t want to ever see each other after what Bertuzzi did to Moore.

Shaq and Kobe:

This one is a gimme, which is why it’s at the bottom. Don’t let this ancient photo or history of ass-tasting fool you, these 2 hate each other.
