“She’s just my TV wife, it’s acting, lay off me!”

 
David Duchovny made headlines yesterday by checking out of a rehabilitation center for sex addiction.  While it’s fun to make jokes about the thought of going to sexaholics annonymous, it’s better to point out Duchovny’s post-treatment work environment.  It’s basically like a recovering alcoholic working at Oktoberfest.  He plays sex fiend / writer Hank Moody on Showtime’s Californication, and it’s clear that he has taken advantage of his Executive Producer role to make sure that his character is extra cool and always hooking up.
