It’s about that time where everyone looks back on the good and bad of 2008.  I don’t consider myself qualified to provide worthy annual analysis on many subjects, but viral videos is one that I can.  I’ve posted over 1,000 videos on YepYep this year - most of them funny, some informative, but all a good waste of time.  To create this list, I spent the past few days re-watching and scoring every video posted this year.  That process led to a Top 50, which quickly made me realize I had to go beyond my annual Top 15 list.  The resulting list is what I consider the Top 35 Web Videos of 2008.

#33 - Shaq Tells Kobe To Tell Him How His Ass Tastes
This freestyle is easily better than anything from the Shaq Diesel album. It allowed Shaq to get out some aggression related to aging, not being in the finals, and men hungry for his ass.

#32 - South Park Serves Bill Belichick
Cartman teaches students the lesson that it’s ok to cheat as long as you win, just like Bill Belichick.

#31 - Freestyle Rap Battle Translated
Some white guys mute footage of a freestyle rap battle and then narrate it with the likely lyrics (in proper English).

#30 - Inventor Documentary Audition Tape
Vincent claims to be a good inventor because the letters for the word ‘invent’ can be found in his name.  Before he can finish making sense of that, his “animatronic” bird drops a pebble on him.  Just watch, and then feel bad for him.

#29 - Old Man’s Library Shut Down
This poor Mickey Mouse-voiced old man is heartbroken over his childhood library closing for good.



#28 - Former World’s Fattest Kid
It’s amazing how fat Jessica used to be.  Watch her transformation, her mother’s stupidity, and how her current brattyness makes you not feel bad for her goofy walk.

#27- Office Nerf War
Combine your mundane office job with your childhood pastime of nerf wars and you get this dreamy nostalgia video.

#26 - Tornado Hits Bus
This incredible footage from Poland shows a twister approach and then flip a tour bus.

#25 - Voicemails From Dmitri The Stud
Dmitri is Grade A creepo that is from la la land.  He is rich, great in bed, intelligent, and doesn’t play games.  According to himself.
