I saw a commercial for the new chick flick Confessions Of A Shopaholic and did a double-take when I saw the producer whose name is above the title: Jerry Bruckheimer.

Yes, this is the same guy who has put his name on a number of the world’s biggest blockbusters, including:
He kinda explains the situation in this interview. I guess it’s all about making money, which the Shopaholic movie likely will do. So that makes Bruckheimer a sell out. A very wealthy sell out.

yeah Jerry is great he’s got a lot of big hit movies though I’ve never watch the confessions of a shopaholic but I’ve heard some really good things about it already

So, he made a series of successful __blockbusters__ – movies designed and edited to make money – but is now making another one and is therefore a sellout?

she said herself that it was predictable and bad, even for a chick flick, and i didint think it was all that either.
Well all of those movies listed above sucked (especially Top Gun), so what else could you expect?
None of those movies sucked. You just have shitty taste in movies.
