Talk about a suicide fail.

A depressed Chinese businessman stood on top of a bridge for 5 hours, threatening to jump to his death.  Naturally, he drew a lot of attention and traffic on the bridge came to a halt.  Before he could follow through or step down,  angry motorist Lian Jiansheng busted through the police line, pretended to shake Mr. Suicide’s hand, and pushed him off the bridge.  Here’s what the rush hour hero had to say:

“I pushed him off because jumpers like Chen are very selfish. Their action violates a lot of public interests.”

Mr. Suicide didn’t die, and Lian made it to karaoke before closing.
