The animated stick figure action craze started a few years ago (I think) when Alan Becker posted his Animator vs Animation on AlbinoBlacksheep.com. Since then, hundreds more have been posted online, and below are some of the best. Pivot didn’t create those animations, Flash did.
Not only that, but as previously mentioned, http://www.sfdt.com holds one of the largest collection of stick animations. How would I know? I submit my work there

Not only that, but those works aren’t the greatest. The first two are golden and very original, but when it comes to quality you need to look into Justin Oh’s aka Toughluck.

When it comes to smooth fighting, look at Terkoiz or Steel_Cold
