Update:  They’re fake.  Good one, Chad.

Chad Ochochinco Johnson, who discovered Twitter last week and can’t get enough of it, had a banner on the site yesterday, immediately challenging Shaq as the most entertaining Tweeting athlete.  It’s no surprise that he’s taken a likin’ to Twitter, which provides him with an endless stream of ego-boost via adoring fans and chicks who can’t believe they’re really talking to him.  So what was so special about yesterday?

• He revealed Trojan called him about an endorsement, then shared his ideal slogan – “Ocho Cinco condoms, they’ll catch everything your Johnson shoots!!!“
• He told the world he was getting face tattoos just in time for media day, and then backed it up with pictures – “State of FLA on one side Double crosses on the other, OC is in between the eyes”

While I’ll never love him like I once did, seeing the human version of Chad, not the media version, has been refreshing.
