A Saudi court on Wednesday sentenced a man who caused uproar by bragging about his sex life on television to five years in prison and 1,000 lashes, according to Ministry of Information officials.
You read that right. Mazen Abdul Jawad will receive 1,000(!?!?!) lashes for openly talking on TV about being a pimp. I imagine he’ll have learned his lesson after lash 2, but why not reinforce 998 more times?
