Today is the official No Megan Fox day, and the internets have chosen to replace her with the one and only Betty White.  Looking at her kinda makes you wonder what Megan Fox will look like in 50 years, but we can’t speculate on that today.  To feed your Megan addiction, learn about 10 overlooked Megans.

Here’s AskMen’s video on how to treat Megan Fox Media Over Saturation Syndrome:

As you’ve now noticed, YepYep went through a major facelift over the weekend.  It has been in the works for a couple months, and was designed and developed by the kickass team of GrandmasterB and Jeff Buzz.  Anyone looking for some graphic or blog design help, definitely holler at them.

While I have your attention, please subscribe to my RSS feed for easy YepYep content consumption.

Gone to LA to watch the Buckeyes take on USC.  Hoping that Chris Wells brings it and slows down the game so USC doesn’t go all Florida/LSU on us.  Excited to see what Tressel has up his sleave when it comes to using Terrell Pryor.  GO BUCKS!!!

Since most of the content on here is timeless and a lot of you are new to the site, I added a few features to make the discovery of past hilarity simple.

  1. Randomizer button on the top right nav bar. Each time you click, it will take you to a random post from the site. Fun!
  2. From The Archives… You’ll notice each day the 5th post (or so) will have the subject of “From The Archives.” That’s just a random pull of some old post to the front page. May be hit or miss. Today is a miss. Oops.
  3. Random Awesomeness at the bottom of each post. This is only when you click on the post and don’t just view it from the front page. It will display links to 5 posts the Gibbs12.com spider monkey robots determined you will like.

Howdy!

A couple new things to note:

  • YEPYEPedia - This is a Wiki for the site. What’s a wiki, you ask? It’sA website or similar online resource which allows users to add and edit content collectively” and the most famous one is Wikipedia. Basically, it’s the place where you should submit all content for the site. It’s real easy to use and there are instructions on the page. I created this so:
    • You don’t have to feel awkward emailing me nothing but a link
    • Sharing content for YepYep will be easier
    • You can be anonymous and still submit stuff
  • Daily Boom - Everyday there will be one post that has the following logo on it. This signifies the top content of the day. If you’re only stopping by for a minute, this is the one thing you should check out. I’ll give you a cookie if you submit that day’s Daily Boom via the YEPYEPedia.
  • Flickr Widget - There’s always been an orange Flickr widget in the right column of the page, but now it features only images that have appeared on YepYep. No longer do you have to look at my pretty pictures of sunsets.
  • Sidebar Redesign - This is still a work in progress, but you’ll notice that I’ll feature links to some of the most popular content (BOOMS!) from there. The main purpose is to help you discover something sweet you might have missed.

Expect to see this exact post a few more times. Maybe by the 5th time you’ll read it all. Use the YEPYEPedia! I realize it’s not very pretty, but the “free” version has lots of design limitations.

If you enjoy this site on a regular basis, please do me a favor and tell a few friends. The “share this” link at the bottom of each post is an easy way to email a post to people. THANK YOU!!!

I apologize for the site being down the past few days, the hosting provider I use (Midphase) had a server crash or something and they’re both slow to fix it and apparently lost 2 months of my posts.

I’m thrilled about this.  If you or anyone you know are looking for website hosting, do not use Midphase.  Be back Monday with regular postings, I’ve got a ton of stuff stored from the past few days.

The website changethemargins.com is calling for printer owners everywhere to take the simple step of, well, changing their margins from the current luxurious standard 1.25 inches to a the more modest .75 inches. It may sound like a small change, but if everyone in the nation did it, we’d save a little less than a Rhode Island’s worth of trees every year. Does tinkering with Word’s cumbersome preferences scare the fonts right out of you? Another goal of the site is to petition Microsoft to change the default margins on all its Office products.

Thanks Chad.

Click on the GAMES page on the right menu to waste some time and play some simple web games.  I’ll let you know when I add to it, but right now it has Tetris, Pacman, Simon, and Frogger.  Woohoo!
