You’ve likely heard other people give this song a try, but Jay-Z’s attempt is currently atop my playlist.

Chamillionaire’s new ode to the haters is catchy and features a great ‘Free Fallin’ sample.

The best new song you’ll hear this week - Onslaught by rap supergroup Slaughterhouse:

The latest Jay-Z leaked track - Venus vs. Mars (produced by Timbaland)

Overrated song people will be talking about - Forever by Drake, Eminem, Kanye, Lil Wayne:

Eminem outshines everyone by far.

With the trio of Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Rihanna in one video, you’d expect something classic.  The result doesn’t disappoint, but these days anything with creativity beyond T&A scores points in my book.  Check it:

Back in the day when I was focused on being the white kid that hated white music, I became a Bone Thugs superfan.  That quickly led to discovering Twista, and I’ve been a fan since.  His latest album, Category F5 (clever, Twista, clever), is his best effort since 2004’s Kamikaze.  Below are my favorite tracks, all worth the download on iTunes.

Yellow Light featuring R. Kelly

On Top featuring Akon

Alright featuring Kanye West

“Run This Town” is the latest release from Jay-Z’s upcoming Blueprint 3 album, and is quickly becoming the favorite for song of the summer.  What do you think?

“What you think I rap for, to push a f****n’ Rav4?”

Kanye’s best line of ‘09.

‘Still Around’ is a change of pace from 3OH!3, whose songs are usually electronic-heavy party starters.

Hit the jump for some higher energy jams from 3OH!3…

I’m usually not too high on Clipse since their production from The Neptunes usually outshines their flow, but I like their latest tracked titled Kinda Like A Big Deal.  Plus, Kanye isn’t a robot, so that’s good.

Everyone knows the “Thousand Miles” song from Vanessa Carlton a few years back.  You even know that in the video she rides in the back of a flatbed while playing her piano.  Maybe that’s just my memory.

Mr. name-speller Fabolous is back in the game with the single “It’s My Time” and me likey.

Eminem’s highly anticipated Relapse album comes out this week, but much of the internets has already given it a listen, myself included.  Overall, there’s a few stand out tracks, but it’s by far Em’s weakest offering to date.  That said, newcomer/whitey Asher Roth’s debut, Asleep In The Bread Aisle, is a better overall album.  Look past the gimmicky first single I Love College and give it a listen.  Below are my favorite tracks from both albums:

Fallin - Asher Roth
